Family:
When Fred and George were born, Molly and Arthur Weasley had already been blessed with three sons. It didn't seem likely that the family would cease to grow just yet, since Molly so adored having babies in her home and loved being a mom. Of course, as the twins grew and tested their limits, it became clearer that a time would soon come when Molly would reach a point where she couldn't handle more kids.

The Weasleys were a close-knit family from day one, and each child learned this quickly. Once Ginny entered the family, things settled as Molly and Arthur were done reproducing. The family grew together, learned together, and ultimately made life great despite all their shortcomings. Their house was a happy one, if not overflowing with monetary or material wealth. They had wealth in love and kindness and in joy, and for that, every Weasley child was thankful.

Even with death, the family remained close together and got through. Theirs is a family strengthened by both joy and sadness, united in happiness and grief. They have learned to handle love and loss together, and they are better for it.

Personal:
From the time they were born, it's always been 'Fred and George'. To some, this would seem stifling, taking away their individual identity and what have you. To Fred, it was his life and it was his world and he never wanted anything else. George has always been his favorite person, his confidant, and his best friend in the world. They got into trouble together and they got through the hard times together. They fought, of course, and still will forever, because they are brothers and that's what brothers do, but they also support each other more than anything and Fred would be lost without his twin. It's always been that way and it always will, and he wouldn't have it any other way.

When they started school, they knew where they'd be house-wise and in some ways it was disappointing, if only because there would be less opportunity for jokes and pranks when they were limited to only one house. They quickly got over that, though, since they had plenty of jokes up their sleeves and had plenty of fun from the start.

The two made names for themselves at Hogwarts without a problem, especially with their storm out that year the pink toad took over. Of course, they worked things out with McGonagall (since she was the lioness who went to war for her students) so that they could sit for their NEWTs and graduate in the long run. Thus, the two went to Merlin's after getting things worked out with their multiple locations of WWW stores.

With long term goals of making it big, the twins continue their studies and continue their pranks.
