Family:
Annabelle is the youngest child of the wealthy Royce family, a prominent and pureblood European family line that has made their riches in wizarding real estate. Currently, her father owns and built over a dozen five star hotels that cater to the rich of wizardkind in several different countries. Not to mention the side ventures of clubs, restaurants, and whatever else turns into a decent profit.

Her mother has never had to work a day in her life, but is not exactly a silent partner in marriage or business. She can often be found in the important boardrooms, whispering into her husband's ear, weighing in on decisions, for she is as clever as she is beautiful, and often helps take care of things when her husband is away on other business. She has an exceptional eye for interior design and is the reason for the grandeur of the hotels the family owns.

Together her parents have three kids, Annabelle being the youngest. She has two older brothers, Jasper and Eadric. Eadric had forgone attending Merlin's in favor of traveling and gaining real-world experience and knowledge and now helps manage the hotels their father built and owned. He currently resides in France where their father's first hotel is located along with their alma mater. Jasper, her eldest brother, has always enjoyed being the oldest and the pride and joy of their parents, so he had no issue with attending Merlin's and furthering his education as directed by their father. While Jasper is a graduate student at the Academy, Annabelle is currently a sophomore.

Personal:
Annabelle is the proverbial 'girl next door' for all intents and purposes. She has the natural allure of purity and charm combined with a natural and effortless but quiet beauty. Raised traditionally, with what could be considered old-fashioned norms of behavior for her gender, she exemplifies modesty and has an easy-going nature for the most part. Like her mother, she has a certain spark of cleverness, can be quite witty, and has an eye for the simple beauty in things.

Being a pureblood and wealthy, she is accustomed to and has a certain expectation for the finer things in life and a certain way of living but has long since learned from her parents to have a proper appreciation for it. Unlike many of her pureblooded peers, and to an extent her brothers as well, Annabelle has never been snobbish or arrogant, but wholesome, accepting, and gracious. While inheriting the innate confidence that comes with being pureblood and raised as such, she is the sweetest mix of confidence and shyness, and having always had at least one of her brothers around, she's retained a somewhat sheltered existence when it comes to experience with others, especially the opposite gender.

She's always been loyal to her brothers to a fault, Jasper especially, as he has always been the more protective brother. Eadric has always allowed her a bit more leeway, but she has always looked up to both and respects them greatly. She never lies to her brothers and turns to them for everything. It was Jasper who encouraged her to further her education, along with their mother, who had told her that "Women may be pretty but that didn't mean they had to be empty-headed."
